Profile pictures are displayed publicly to other members within the platform.
8. MINI-MISSIONS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
8.1 Mini-Mission Participation
WeThe99 may launch special projects called "mini-missions" that involve music, videos, or other creative content. By participating in a mini-mission (such as purchasing a song or supporting a project):

- A specified percentage (e.g., 50%) of net proceeds will be donated to designated charities
- The remaining proceeds will support WeThe99's operations and mission

9.2 Access Levels
Town Square operates on a tiered access model:
- Free members: May read posts, view initiatives, and browse content

We reserve the right to modify access levels at any time with reasonable notice.
9.3 Posting and Content
When you post, comment, or otherwise contribute content to Town Square, you agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the content you post and any consequences arising from it

- You acknowledge that votes and initiative results are advisory and do not create binding obligations on WeThe99
- You will cast votes honestly and in good faith, representing your genuine opinion
- You will not attempt to manipulate voting through the use of multiple accounts, bots, or other artificial means
- We reserve the right to remove initiatives that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
- WeThe99 may use initiative results to inform our campaigns, advocacy efforts, and priorities but retains full discretion over organizational decisions
9.5 Community Standards
Town Square is a space for constructive, mission-aligned dialogue. You agree to engage respectfully and productively. We reserve the right to:

10. WE-CRUITER REFERRAL PROGRAM
10.1 Program Overview
The WE-Cruiter Referral Program ("Program") allows registered WeThe99 members to earn rewards by referring new members to the platform. Participation in the Program is subject to these Terms and any additional Program-specific guidelines we may publish.
10.2 Eligibility
To participate in the WE-Cruiter Program, you must:
- Be a registered WeThe99 member in good standing
- Have a valid account that is not suspended or under investigation
- Reside in a jurisdiction where participation is lawful
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
10.3 How Referrals Work
To earn a referral reward:
- You must share your unique referral link or code with potential new members
- The referred person must complete registration and meet any qualifying actions specified by the Program at the time of referral
- Self-referrals are not permitted — you may not refer yourself or use multiple accounts to generate referral rewards
- Referred individuals must be genuinely new members who have not previously registered with WeThe99
- Referral commissions are only awarded on payments made by users with a registered WeThe99 account. Donations or purchases completed without a logged-in account are not eligible for commission credit
10.4 Commission Tiers and Multi-Level Structure
The WE-Cruiter Program uses a subscription-tier-based commission structure and includes a multi-level component:
- Commission rates: The commission percentage you earn is determined by your active subscription tier. Higher subscription tiers earn higher commission rates. Current rates for each tier are displayed on the Website and within your Account page and are subject to change with reasonable notice
- Multi-level earnings: You may earn commissions not only on the direct subscriptions and donations of members you refer, but also on commissions generated by members that your referrals subsequently recruit. This creates a multi-level referral structure in which your earning potential grows as your referral network grows
- Downline visibility: To administer the Program, WeThe99 tracks relationships between referring members and the members they recruit across multiple levels. This network structure is used solely to calculate and distribute commissions and to detect fraud
- No guarantee of earnings: Commission earnings depend on the activity of your referral network and are not guaranteed. Past earnings are not indicative of future results
10.5 Rewards and Payouts
Referral rewards are subject to the following terms:
- The minimum payout threshold is $10.00 USD, subject to change at our discretion with reasonable notice
- All subscription payments and donations are final. Referral commissions are calculated on completed payments and will not be reversed or clawed back regardless of subsequent refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks on the underlying payment
- Commission amounts are rounded to the nearest cent. Fractions of a cent are not accumulated or carried forward to future payouts
- Rewards accumulate in your WE-Cruiter balance and are paid out once the minimum threshold is met and all qualifying conditions are verified
- Payout amounts, methods, and timing will be communicated through the Program interface and are subject to change
- WeThe99 reserves the right to withhold or reverse rewards that were earned through fraudulent, abusive, or ineligible referrals
- Rewards have no cash value until a payout is processed and approved, and are not transferable
10.6 Fraud and Abuse
We take the integrity of the WE-Cruiter Program seriously. The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate disqualification from the Program, forfeiture of all accrued rewards, and termination of your account:
- Creating fake, duplicate, or bot accounts to generate referral credits
- Purchasing referrals or using paid advertising that violates Program guidelines
- Misrepresenting WeThe99 or the Program to potential referrals
- Any other activity that artificially inflates referral counts or reward balances
10.7 Tax Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from rewards received through the WE-Cruiter Program. WeThe99 may be required to report payouts to tax authorities where required by law. We recommend consulting a tax professional regarding your specific situation.
10.8 Program Modification or Termination
WeThe99 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the WE-Cruiter Program at any time. If the Program is terminated, we will make reasonable efforts to process any pending verified rewards that have already met the minimum payout threshold prior to termination.

- Your right to use the Website will immediately cease
- Any subscriptions will be canceled (subject to our refund policy)
- We may delete your account and any content associated with it
- Any WE-Cruiter referral rewards that have not yet met the minimum payout threshold will be forfeited and will not be paid out. Rewards that have already met the minimum payout threshold and are pending processing at the time of termination may be paid out at our discretion, except in cases where the account is terminated for fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms, in which case all unpaid rewards are forfeited
- Town Square posts, replies, and votes associated with your account may be anonymized or removed
